Avenger's Turn 1 |
|
|
Avenger is now ready to summon
his first card in this fight. He only have one low-level creature
which generates elements - it is Nixie. It gives 1 Water every turn,
and also can exchange 1 Fire to 1 Water, if you use casting ability. |
|
Usually, it doesn't matter which
slot you choose to summon first, so Avenger
just used the first. He then pressed cast and exchanged 1 Fire to Water:
|
Zealot's
Turn 1 |
Zealot studied his deck and decided
to quickly get rid of Nixie. Centaur doesn't have summon sickness
(he attacks the same turn he was summoned). Another good thing is
this - his attack is 5, and Nixie's health is 10, so he can kill
it in just two turns. |
|
Centaur cannot use casting ability,
because it requires 1 Earth, which
Zealot
doesn't have. So he just skips his turn.
|
Avenger's Turn
2 |
Looks like avenger wants to mark
his time. He summons another Nixie, and
uses Casting for both Nixies he has. |
 |
Zealot's Turn
2 |
Zealot uses Centaur's casting,
which deals 3 damage to enemy player - very
useful ability. He will use it later as much as he can.
But then he studies his deck and cannot find anything useful. |
|
He discovers he need
only 1 Death before he can summon Darklord, so he
desides to wait and just skips his turn.
|
Avenger's Turn
3 |
He summons Banshee, which instantly
deals 8 damage to Zealot. Not a great
move, looks like he's preparing something. |
 |
Zealot's Turn
3 |
Finally
he can summon a Darklord, which is extremely useful card - one of
the
most useful in a game, if used properly. It heals itself and heals
owner,
which
is just great. |
 |
Avenger's Turn
4 |
Avenger
is really concentrated on hiting enemy player. He summoned Fairy,
which forces enemy creature to attack his owner. |
|
And
he uses it. Zealot's health is in danger - he only has 34 now. |
 |
Zealot's Turn
4 |
Zealot
found a great way to counter Avenger's try. Magic healer will absorb
damage directed to him, so he's now quite protected. |
 |
Avenger's Turn
5 |
Avenger
discovers he can lose Banshee next turn, since it only has 2 health
left. He uses Restructure spell, which heals his troops for 6. |
|
Notice
that fairy is healed, too - even though it had full health. This
is
because Restructure also increases maximum health a creature can have. |
 |
Zealot's Turn
5 |
Avenger's
healing trick won't work - Zealot summons Red Drake, which deals
damage to enemy creatures at the moment he's summoned. |
|
| So,
the Bansee dies. |
 |
Avenger's Turn
6 |
|
He's
smart, too. He has fire spikes, which helps him to finish with the
Centaur. Too bad though, it deals 3 damage, while Magic Healer has
4 - so
he survives. |
He
skips fairy's casting, and this is his big mistake, even though he
doesn't
know it yet. The reason why he did so, is that even though this would kill
magic healer, Zealot wouldn't suffer. |
 |
Zealot's Turn
6 |
Because
Zealot still has Magic Healer, he can cast Purify Spell, which
requires
the user to have at least one Life creature. |
|
Purify
heals Zealot's troops and damages Avengers. This was quite enough
to
get rid of all Avenger's creatures. Darklord also healed Zealot, so
he has
a lot of health now. |
 |
Avenger's Turn
6 |
Now
this is what he was waiting for! He summons a Hydra, a highest level
in
the game. A very powerful one - he will attack three slots at once.
This
should
be quite brutal. |
 |
Zealot's Turn
7 |
He
spent a lot of elements, and doesn't have anything good to summon
now.
He ispects Water, but there's nothing useful. So he summons manticore,
which is not quite useful in this case, but still a good attacker.
|
 |
Avenger's Turn
8 |
He's
going with heavy artillery. A Unicorn, which is level 9 and has a
lot
of
attack. |
|
Zealot's Turn
8 |
Then
again he doesn't have enough elements for anything extremely useful
He inspects his Water, and there's nothing except Ice Guard - spells
would
be a waste here, because Unicorn heals Poison and reduces damage from
other
spells. |
 |
Avenger's Turn
9 |
Hydra
is going to attack now, and everyone should feel PAIN. He adds to
this
by using fire spikes. |
 |
Zealot's Turn
9 |
Avenger
destroyed Darklord, but he has too many empty gaps now. To increase
effect, Zealot casts Steal Life, which steals extra 5 HP from Avenger. |
 |
Avenger's Turn
10 |
Health
is critical!! But he has absolutely nothing to heal, and he blocks
Manticore, just to live another round. |
 |
Zealot's Turn
10 |
He
can do quite anything, because Avenger is almost dead now. He summons
another Manticore. |
 |
Avenger's Turn
11 |
He
has 2 Health now, and two gaps, so unless he heals or destroys
enemies, he'll die next round.
He can't do it, because he used most of his elements. Both Air and
Earth
can't help him yet. |
|
|
So
he just surrenders. |
